Lordy, Lordy, did we for evermore have a feast and a throw-down on Saturday night!! This definitely was a must-be-there party!!! That Mexican Buffet was one to behold!! You ladies who prepared all those dishes I can't even pronounce sure outdid yourselves this time, no doubt about it. Let's go ahead right now an' say "Thank you, thank you, thank you" to 'errrbody' (copied from Josef-Ann) who had a hand in fixin' and displayin' those vittles. You done good girls!!

Talk about some pumped up people - now that Ricky V sure knows how to get it on! Just view the pics an' you'll see the dance floor ablazin'! Those hoochie mamas an' papas are gettin' down for sure an' the shaggin' was a real show!! Ricky, anybody who doesn't move to the beat of your tunes, well..... What can I say!?! You know now, the shoes have to be just right or the feet don't work. Don't believe me? Well, ask Jane. What are friends for; right, Hazel?

Hey now, wha'ja think of the new take on show biz with Stevie performing his famous rendition of 'Just a Jiggolo'?? That Stevie is entertainment for sure!

Can you believe it? All-girl winners!! Check out Bob's pics for the chicks with the biggest (and prettiest) smiles!! Yeah, that'll be the door prize winners: Amy, Judy, and Pam, receiving free club memberships for this year. An' look'it Dot's great grin. I know she is soooo glad Strug was a good li'l boy and bought that ticket from Melva! And just how much green was in that pot anyway, Dot??

OK; time for a bit more recognition. Robert E (the Pres) presented certificates to some he felt had gone 'above and beyond the call of duty' in promoting our great shag club and in helping to make it be the very best that it can be. You can see these folks: Ed, Paula, Bob and Helon, and Diane and Alan (accepting for Memories Beach and Shag Club), in a section designated for that purpose, so I won't be redundant here. I would like to say, however, that in my opinion every member of our beach 'n shag family deserves recognition, for without each and every one of you and your amazing comradery we would have no club family at all. We ask not, "What can this club do for me?" Rather, "What can I do for my club???"

Now the Re-up Party was truly a free-spirit escape. This gathering of friends surely showed what a totally wonderful lifestyle is enjoyed by those of us who love the music and the dance the way we do! Please note: the passion is definitely wonderfully contagious!! More than one third of the 268 of us made certain we maintain family status for another year. And for those of you who are new members, we want to get to know you!! Sooooo, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let Bob know who you are and let him get a photo for the Member's Photo Gallery. (It won't hurt; I promise!!!)

Call us crazy; but hey, who cares?? LIFE IS GOOD.....
