Did ya meet everybody at the Members' Party?? Well, I did (some say I met them twice -- um, 'magine that)!

Just like shaggin' is a southern tradition; well, so is country cookin'! And believe me, ABSC has got some mighty fine cooks. Man, did we ever have a spread!! ALL of the food for our Meet the Members Party was provided by the members, and was it ever sooooo yummy!

To all who volunteered help in any way, "Many thanks!!" Please know the Entertainment Committee could never do this alone and your help is sincerely appreciated! Certainly, "Thanks" are extended to our DJ, Julius Adair; as well as, the Memories Crew.

Hey, Eddie -- you done good, babe! Anybody who can get the 'whole' crowd on the floor for some fancy footwork...well, what can I say?? Now, we gotta' do this again and real soon! To all of you who dug deep into those ol' coin-stained pockets, I'm quite sure Bill Seymour would like to say, "Glad you kept buyin' them tickets". Bill was hopin' there'd be enough to buy a car -- that Bill; sure sets his sights high, doesn't he? And, oh yeh, the B-Day dances. Now, there were two, Ed Womble and 'Krazy' Eddie Spencer. Two men dancing together and doing a belly roll -- was that ever a side-splitter!!! (Everybody I laughed with said they were soooo glad Eddie didn't choose to teach us that one!)

Got two new family members at the Meet the Members/ Photo Party! To Robin and Kay Anthony from Mount Olive -- WELCOME Y'ALL !!

To each and every one of you who have supported the fund raisers by purchasing one, or more, license plates and/or tee-shirts, you are certainly to be commended. Without you, the Entertainment Committee would not be able to plan the quality social events we have recently been enjoying. Your continued support is so much appreciated!!! (By the way, we still have a few plates and shirts available.)
