Howdy Y'all,
Boy, did we have a good time pickin' them chickens!! Now here's the real
deal; man, was the joint jumpin'! That Eddie -- he sure knows the sounds we
like to boogie to an' he kept'um spinnin' the whole night. With his
soothing tunes he brought out the fancy foot-workers, the hoochie mamas (and
that includes Butch -- you know what I mean...), and those 'just beginning'
shaggers. [Need I remind you to check out Bob's pics??] Now Eddie, you got
it goin' on, Babe!
To Alan and Diane -- you guys were great! You really showed us some fine
moves. Your hard work, dedication and love for the dance really showed and
we love you for it. To anyone who couldn't be with us, you missed an 'extra
special treat!
Now, I have to tell you, I am about to get suspicious. How does one manage
to have the winning 50/50 ticket two times in a row?? It's pretty obvious
who amongst us has the biggest grin when it comes to the green. Richard's
face is becoming a real regular in the photo section!! [Check it out an'
you'll see what I mean!]
Our family just keeps growin' and growin'. Five more party animals came on
board while 'pickin' their chicken! Soooo, when you see them, say "Hello"
to Ted Wilson, Pat and John Tantum, Amy Arnold, and Linda McAlister an' I'm
gonna' say to them, WELCOME Y'ALL!!!
To everyone who donated time, energy, and efforts in any way, a huge "THANK
YOU" goes out to you; especially to the ladies who shared desserts and
brought fixins'. The evenings' menu wouldn't have been complete without
your specialties! And as always, "Thanks'" to the Memories crew for so
graciously putting up with us and our antics. Memories, you know you'll
always be home to us!!
Seriously now, don't you miss Bob's pics. The evidence is there, so be
careful what you deny!!
C U next time,
Helon
