J., FOOD AND BEVERAGE ON SEPTEMBER 18TH.               MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT Let me first thank all of you for allowing me to serve as President this year. It is truly my honor and pleasure to serve. I promise you I will do my best. But most of all I thank all of you for being my friends. THANK YOU TO THE OFFICERS AND BOARD MEMBERS AS WELL AS ALL THE PEOPLE ON THE COMMITTEES AND OTHERS THAT HELPED IN SO MANY WAYS TO SERVE THIS CLUB IN THE PREVIOUS YEAR. I LOOK FORWARD TO WORKING WITH THE NEW BOARD & COMMITTEE MEMBERS. I KNOW WE WILL HAVE A FANTASTIC YEAR! We had our elections on June 14. And the club elected. Bill Guthrie President, Frances Pittman, Vice president; Catherine Brett, Secretary; and Deborah Wilkins, Treasurer. The Four officers that were elected make up the Executive Committee; there will be 5 Board of Directors (appointed) and 5 committee chairmen (appointed) by the President, as per our By-Laws. The night of the elections we had 44 members to come and vote. I THANK ALL OF YOU! Our next ABSC meeting will be July 11 @ Memories Shag Club our Re-up party will be on July 12 @ Memories Ricky Viverette will be our DJ. The month of August and September are being planned now. They are proposed to be on or near the beach. These two events will be the first for the new SOCIAL COMMITTEE. Details later.
